Don’t you wonder sometimes, how many different people cross your path over the years? Wonder what ever happened to some of them that you may remember?
Having lived and worked in seven different countries, I sure came across a lot of people from all different walks of life and origins, different languages, and ethnic heritages.
We all share the same common issues, problems, and worries, the only thing that differentiates us is a language.
Well, a few days ago on my way to Zermatt, I had the pleasure of meeting a very special person, somebody one does not forget, who just so happened, to sit opposite me on the train, his name was Pasang. He caught my attention because he was wearing something like a Nepalese topi, which is a traditional cap or cloth worn by men, it is made of cotton or wool and is often embroidered. We started to chat, he told me he was on vacation in Switzerland. He is the Managing Director of a Kiwi Farm in Kathmandu, Nepal, Sarbakhas Krishi Farm Ltd.
I had no idea that Kiwis grow in Nepal!
We had a nice long chat on the long train ride to Zermatt and exchanged personal information before spitting up on arrival.
Next time you eat a Kiwi, maybe it is from his farm!
